Pro48™ Solenoid Activator
The Pro48 Solenoid and Clock Checker is a low-cost electrical function
tester for irrigation contractors and maintenance personnel. The Pro48 tech tool can be used to perform a series of simple procedures to test, verify, and identify solenoid, wire, and clock problems. Solenoids can be checked using either activation or chatter modes. Lost or buried solenoids are quickly found as well by listening for the chatter. Wiring can be verified and tagged with the built in tone generator. Clocks also are tested for proper 24 V output with the simple LED power check. Housed in a thick-walled plastic case, the highly visible yellow Pro48 is designed for rugged use in the field

Overview
The Pro48 is designed to narrow an irrigation electrical problem down to one of three areas: the controller, the field wiring, or the solenoid. Its LED indicators provide straightforward feedback rather than requiring a technician to interpret a complicated display.
For example, if a sprinkler zone isn’t operating, a technician can use the Pro48 to check whether the controller is producing voltage, determine whether the field wiring has an open or short, and test whether the valve solenoid responds.
