Pro66™ Plastic Pipe Tracking Aid
The Armada Technologies Pro66 is a flexible pipe-tracing solution designed to help technicians locate and follow the path of buried non-metallic pipes and conduit. Unlike metal pipe, PVC and vinyl pipe cannot normally be detected directly with a conventional wire locator. The Pro66 solves this problem by providing a detectable 33 kHz tracking signal that can be followed with a compatible locator, such as the Armada Pro900.
Simply insert the flexible tracking rod into the accessible end of a PVC, vinyl, or similar non-metallic pipe or conduit, then use a compatible 33 kHz locator to trace the rod’s path underground. This allows technicians to map the route of buried pipe without excavation.

Overview
The Pro66 acts as a traceable extension inside a non-metallic pipe. Because PVC and vinyl don’t provide a conductive path that a standard locator can detect, the Pro66 is inserted into the pipe and tracked from above ground.
Once inserted, a compatible locator detects the Pro66’s 33 kHz signal, allowing the technician to follow the underground route and determine where the pipe runs.

Product FAQ
The Pro66™ is used to trace and locate buried non-metallic pipe and conduit, including PVC and vinyl pipe, using a compatible 33 kHz locator.
The flexible tracking rod is inserted into the pipe being located. A compatible locator can then detect the Pro66™’s 33 kHz signal, allowing the technician to follow the pipe’s underground path.
The Pro66™ can be tracked with compatible 33 kHz locators, including the Armada Technologies Pro900™.
The Pro66™ is primarily intended to provide a detectable path inside non-metallic pipe and conduit. For naturally conductive metal utilities, a suitable direct connection or other locating method may be more appropriate.
