Pro881™ Underground Cable Locator
The Armada Technologies Pro881™ Underground Cable Locator is a fast, easy-to-use digital locating system designed to help technicians accurately find buried cables with minimal setup. With simple controls and three locating frequencies, the Pro881 can trace a variety of underground cabling, including irrigation, CATV, electrical, telephone, and landscape lighting systems.
Built-in digital filtering technology helps reduce unwanted AC noise and electrical interference, allowing technicians to obtain cleaner, more reliable locating signals in challenging environments. The Pro881 transmitter also can be powered with a rechargeable battery.
The Pro881 also includes the IC4 inductive clamp, which applies a 175 kHz tracing signal to energized or de-energized cables without requiring a direct electrical connection. This inductive method allows technicians to trace cables without disconnecting them or making direct contact with potentially hazardous electrical connections.
