The Armada Technologies Pro900™ Digital Underground Cable Locator is a full-featured, professional locating system designed to help contractors and maintenance personnel quickly identify and trace buried metallic cables and utilities. Built for demanding field environments, the Pro900 combines digital interference suppression, multiple locating frequencies, passive power-cable detection, and flexible connection methods to provide reliable underground tracing across a wide range of applications.
A major advantage of the Pro900 is its rechargeable power capability in both the transmitter and receiver wand. The transmitter can operate from an 18V/20V rechargeable battery, D-cell batteries, or the included AC adaptor, while the receiver wand can use a 12V rechargeable battery or a 9V battery. This gives crews the flexibility to use rechargeable batteries for frequent field work while retaining conventional battery options when needed. An included AC power adapter provides another convenient charging/power option.
The Pro900 offers two direct-connection locating frequencies—2 kHz and 33 kHz—along with inductive locating modes. Contractors can use the wireless inductive antenna or included clamp when direct connection isn’t practical. The system also provides passive 50/60Hz AC tracking, allowing technicians to locate energized power cables without connecting a transmitter to the cable.
