The Armada Technologies Pro220A™ Advanced AC Filtered CATV Tone and Probe ID Kit is a professional wire and cable identification system designed specifically for CATV and coaxial cable technicians. Built around the needs of cable TV professionals, the Pro220A combines a specialized CATV tone generator with an advanced AC-filtered tone probe to make cable identification faster and easier—even in environments with significant electrical interference.
The Pro110A™ CATV Tone Generator features both male and female F-connectors, providing a convenient connection directly to compatible coaxial cable. It also supports RJ11 and alligator clip connections for added versatility. Built-in short-circuit testing provides visible and audible indications to help technicians quickly identify potential cable problems.
The Pro210F™ AC Filtered Tone Probe is designed to make tracing easier in electrically noisy environments. Its AC noise filtering technology helps reduce unwanted buzzing and interference, while the high-powered LED headlight illuminates dark cable cabinets, equipment rooms, crawlspaces, and other difficult work areas.

The Pro220A uses a simple two-piece system to identify and trace coaxial and other compatible cables.
The Pro110A™ Tone Generator connects to the cable and places a distinctive tracing signal onto the line. Its male and female F-connectors make it particularly convenient for CATV applications, while RJ11 and alligator clip connections provide additional flexibility. At the opposite end of the cable, the Pro210F™ AC Filtered Tone Probe detects the tracing signal. The technician can follow the strongest signal to identify the correct cable or termination point.
One of the Pro220A’s biggest advantages is its AC noise filtering. Electrical interference can make traditional tone probes difficult to use, especially around active equipment and wiring. The Pro210F™ is designed to reduce this unwanted buzz, helping technicians hear the intended tracing signal more clearly.
The probe also includes a bright automatic LED headlight, adjustable volume, headset jack, low-battery indicator, and a durable metal/plastic combination tip.
